Other Batch Operations

Most of these actions are available from More Actions on the action bar. They apply to the currently selected devices, and selected groups also contribute devices to the operation scope.

Batch Rename​

  1. Select devices in the device list.
  2. Right-click and choose Batch Rename...
  3. Enter the new naming pattern and confirm.

License Check​

  • More Actions includes License Check, which refreshes the current license status of multiple devices at once.
  • The results are written back to the device list status.

Lock or Unlock Screens​

  • This is useful for setting all device screens to the required state before running scripts.
  • Use More Actions → Lock Screen or More Actions → Unlock Screen on the currently selected devices.

Set Screen Brightness​

  • Open More Actions → Set Screen Brightness.
  • Set the brightness in the dialog and confirm.

Set Volume​

  • Open More Actions → Set Volume.
  • Set the volume in the dialog and confirm.

Batch Screenshots​

  • Use More Actions → Batch Screenshot to capture all currently selected device screens at once.
  • The screenshots are saved on the backend and can then be handled in File Manager or Sample Workbench.

Pause or Resume Scripts​

  • Pause or resume the scripts currently running on the selected devices together.
  • This is useful together with batch remote control, batch authorization, and similar workflows.

Respring SpringBoard​

  • Use More Actions → Respring SpringBoard.
  • After confirmation, the selected devices log out and reload the SpringBoard desktop environment.

Reboot Devices​

  • Use More Actions → Reboot Device.
  • Some environments also allow a hard reboot option.
